The idea is to isolate the carb somewhat from vibration & heat from the
engine and help prevent fuel sloshing.
This kit provides the best of both
worlds- special rubber mounts with cup washers on top (for maximum
dampening effect) and the metal Thackery washers below to isolate vibration,
yet not be ruined by fuel dripping (the issue with rubber below). One set dos one car.
